Anonymous ard, please, listen? you're not a replacement. you're you. you're ardois. and that's all you need to be! who cares about a different you? the past is past, and this is who you are now, and we're worried about you regardless. i'm not telling you to listen to the voices. i would like to ask you, though, if you would please go with red. two is better than one, right? stay angry at us if you must, but i believe that if you two stick together you'll find a way out. i know it. give it a thought?
burningstarwormwood That attitude's gonna get you killed faster than your last did. A defeatist stance is the worst one you can take.
Just look what happened to Richard once he stopped giving up and started opening up to people.
But I don’t want to open up to them I was told I shouldn’t trust them then I was told I should and I’m sick to death of being pushed around by these voices.
You mean to imply that I’ll be dead, affirming a fear that I already have which causes me to put up a mildly aggressive front. This does nothing but strengthen that fear and make me even less sociable.
But whatever. Maybe I’ll die down here and go back to being the Ardois you love so much, considering me in my current state is so undesirable.
rabbitbatthing The first Ardois wasn't stupid, and he was certainly much more pleasant to talk to, even when he was in a bad mood. You need to get your attitude together before it ends up being the death of you.
I’m not in this for pleasantries.
I’m in this to get to safety.
I’m not going to suffer the same fate that he did.
rabbitbatthing /Our/ job is to help guide you guys out of this little hellhole y'all are stuck in. /You/ became a monster because you thought it was a good idea to go on a suicide mission when you were /right in front of your only way out/ and Red turned into a monster because of /you/. We can't control your actions; we can only give advice.
I’m not going to feel guilt for the actions of a past incarnation. However I do know that Momus became a monster and that Ardois’ death was a result of that action, whether his own decisions played a part or not.
